Members from the New Orleans local wrestling competition, Jazztown Duals, were seeking a new website to streamline competitor registrations and correspondence. We brainstormed together for the perfect strategy. We started with a simple WordPress layout and built a checkoout system using WooCommerce for the registration. Registrants are now able to select their method of payment and choose whether or not they wish to pay a deposit at that time or pay in full at a later date. We also installed a Mailchimp plugin to boost mailing list signups and incorporated affiliate links with discounted rates for participants.
